How to Help

click There are many ways you can help sol.DOG.

sol.DOG usually has several trained dogs for adoption. Adopt your new companion from us, and free up a space for us to rescue another dog in need.

We have several great adoptable dogs who would love a home vacation where they can work on their house manners and get some rest and relaxation. Whether you can commit a weekend, two weeks, or as long as it takes to get the dog adopted, we want to hear from you. Email us at for more info on how you can help us save lives through fostering. It costs you nothing but your time and commitment — we supply everything else you’ll need.

Do you have some time to give, and want to learn about dogs and training? We’re always searching for the right volunteers to help us exercise, train, groom, and love on the adoptable rescue dogs in our care. Wanting to learn about kennel management and working with difficult dogs? There are a limited number of job shadow volunteer positions available each year.

We fund all of our rescue efforts out of pocket. We can always use help to offset the costs, enabling us to expand our reach and help more dogs. We are always in need of monetary donations to help us cover veterinary costs, as well as dog food and pet supply donations. Monetary donations can be made through PayPal to or you can send us supplies directly through our Amazon Wish List. We simply could not do what we do without your help.

“Took our dog Aja in for her first follow up with Rachel this afternoon. We are so happy with the results of the board and train. One of Aja's issues was that she would bolt out of an open door or or gate and then we would end up having to go find her , she had to be on a leash outside of the yard or she would take off on us. The last two days we have had her in the front yard with us off leash and she stays with us. It is awesome !! Today when we pulled up at Sol Dog for our follow up, Aja could hardly contain herself when she saw Rachel..She was extremely happy to see her and gave her lots of kisses.. to me that says alot about Rachel as a trainer and someone who I would trust with any of my dogs.”
