Dog Boarding | Doggie Day Care | Kennels | Tucson

Boarding sol.DOG is proud to be a small kennel where the owners live on-site and your dog will receive individualized care and attention. Unlike most kennels that are “free for all,” we set expectations for the dogs in our care, and ask for and reward your dog for the same good manners you would expect at home. This helps create a calm, structured environment to reduce stress for your dog and the others.

Our kennels are indoor and climate-controlled. We offer both crate and kennel boarding in our spacious 4′ x 6′ runs, which each has a raised bed. We also have ProSelect Indestructible Empire Crates to keep the escape artist or dog with separation anxiety safe. We feed to your specifications and can administer supplements and medications as needed.

All dogs staying with us are taken outdoors five times a day. If your dog enjoys the company of others, they may participate in daily structured playgroups with other dogs. Your dog may also attend our sol.DOG dayCAMP during the day for an additional fee.

sol.DOG will take in the dogs other kennels may turn away. We specialize in managing dogs with behavioral problems and you can trust your dog’s safety and well being with us, even if they have issues with people, other dogs, or confinement.

Your dog must be currently inoculated against rabies, parvo/distemper, and bordatella, or have a recent titer. During the warm months, your dog must be on flea/tick prevention or a Virbac Preventic collar will be placed on your dog for the duration of their stay. To avoid any upset tummies, you should provide enough food for your dog’s stay. Bedding, antlers, and Kongs are available and provided at your request. You may bring your own dog’s own special bedding and chews, as well.

sol.DOG dayCAMP

This is no ordinary doggie day care! sol.DOG dayCAMP will challenge your dog both mentally and physically, so they leave balanced, tired and having practiced important skills.

Activities will vary, but an average dayCAMP day may include structure playtime with other dogs, obedience exercises, treadmill, games, agility, placemat time and much more. We will work with your dog on manners such as loose-leash walking and waiting at thresholds.

This is no “free for all” day care—we will work to ensure your dog has tons of fun, but also help him or her learn to and practice behaving in a balanced, appropriate way. The end result? You don’t have to worry about or feel guilty over leaving your dog alone and you get to pick up a dog who is a delight to have around. What could be better than that?

“After our young rescue pups got into a few awful fights we needed to turn to training so our home wouldn't have all the chaos. I looked up local dog training and after reading reviews and learning her training philosophy we decided on Sol and there 3+ week board and train program. We got our babies back far better mannered. They listen better to commands, walks on leashes don't pull out my shoulder and there interaction together gets more and more calm. I can not thank Rachel and her team enough what what they have done for our pups/family!!”
